From an extensive and rewarding career in retail banking at HSBC, to an inspired career change, Donna currently works as a Placement Officer at the University of West London. She has gained regional recognition for her outstanding contribution to the development of key retail lines. Her change of career was inspired as she volunteered through HSBC’s CSR program where through interaction with local high school students and, developing their interviewing skills allowed Donna to identify another purpose in her career.
In her current role as a Placement Officer, Donna supports and shares networking strategies with undergraduate and postgraduate students across Aviation, Tourism, Business, Accounting and Finance as they search for a placement/internship as part of their degree course. For Donna becoming a mentor is a personal goal that allows her to give back by sharing experiences and aspects of her career path to help others realise their own potential. In her spare time, Donna enjoys attending cultural and music events in her spare time.
